Churches and Public Buildings

Churches and public buildings generally reflect the highest aspirations of the groups that build them. They are almost always designed by professional architects or skilled builders.

We do not recommend a field trip especially to churches and public buildings as an archaeology lesson. Instead, we encourage teachers to use such field trips to impart archaeological insights to students.
